Each room will be equipped with a flip chart, LCD projector, a screen, and an internet connection for the presenter only. The room will not have a laptop. As with any presentation, we recommend that you prepare your presentation using a primary format as well as a backup format. For example, have your presentation on a flash/pen drive.
Session Handouts/Materials:
We anticipate nearly 1,000 attendees at the 2018 Institute, and while we cannot predict individual session attendance, we suggest that you bring 25-30 copies of any handouts you plan to use during your session. Extras may be left on a display table located in front of Registration. Unfortunately, we cannot make extra copies of handouts should there be a shortage. We can however post electronic copies of your handouts to the Assessment Institute website. If you wish to have your handouts posted to our website, please email them to planning@iupui.edu. Institute attendees truly appreciate this service and we do hope you are willing to share your materials with them. If you run out of handouts during your session or if you choose not to bring handouts, you can inform participants in your session that they can find your materials on the Assessment Institute website.

Shipping Information:
- Materials may be shipped via a carrier of your choice. Return shipping must be pre-arranged with carrier.
- All packages being sent to the hotel should include a full return address including the shipper’s name.
- If shipping multiple boxes, in lower left corner, identify boxes: 1 of 4; 2 of 4; 3 of 4, etc.
- Hotel staff will receive items beginning Thursday, October 18, 2018. No packages will be accepted prior to this date. (Per the Marriott, materials may not arrive prior to three days - 72 Hours - before event).

To request delivery or pick-up of a package, you can call “At Your Service” on any house or guestroom phone.

All mail/package forms need to be completed by the guest. Indianapolis Marriott Downtown will not be responsible for completing any shipping/handling forms.
- Storage and delivery charges may apply. All incoming deliveries are assessed a package handling fee:
- $5/box under 20 lbs.
- $10/box or case over 20 lbs.
- $35/display box, poster, large tube or oversized box
- $35/display case
- $75/shrink-wrapped pallet (must be self- contained and properly sealed)
- $75/small wooden crate over 150 lbs.
- $150/crate over 500 lbs.
